The/Day è il progetto dream pop nato dalla comunione di intenti tra la musicista olandese Laura Loeters e Gregor Sonnenberg, di base ad Amburgo. Il duo, dalla pubblicazione del primo ep ha costantemente suonato per promuovere la sua musica in territorio europeo. Attualmente accasati presso la label berlinese SINNBUS, per cui hanno da poco pubblicato il loro ultimo lavoro "Leave the Dark", saranno disponibili per la prima volta in Italia grazie alla vostra dolce Vertigo.  

The Day are Laura Loeters from Utrecht/Netherlands and Hamburg/Germany based Gregor Sonnenberg. Since meeting at ‘Hogeschool voor de kunsten’ in Arnhem the two keep reconciling distances, differences and always new musical approaches and perspectives. The Day is where whimsical Dream Pop meets a DIY ethos learned from hardcore, which allows for Lo-Fi moments in production. A sparse, springy and rapturous dynamic alternates with a wildly imaginative dream-pop harmony, rock and synths create just as inspiring contrasts as great sound bursts and refreshing, reduced postpunk references.
