Tra le proposte più recenti ed interessanti uscite per l'iperattiva label berlinese Listen Records è Catt, originalissima artista poliedrica, in grado di combinare un coloratissimo approccio pianistico ed una voce di rara bellezza ad arrangiamenti di gusto notevole, tutti a firma sua. Nel 2018 pubblica il suo primo singolo "Moon" e subito colpisce la stampa tedesca di settore per la sua originalità bucolica e naif, cifra stilistica che poi sarà alla base del suo primo full lenght album, sempre prodotto da Listen Records, nel novembre 2020, intitolato "Why Why". Con "Change", uscito il 24 marzo del 2023, l'artista aggiunge un ulteriore tassello alla sua carriera, spostandosi verso un folk/pop più intimista. I primi singoli estratti hanno già attirato l'attenzione della stampa internazionale che ha portato l'artista a diventare Artista del mese EQUAL per Spotify, vedendola protagonista sul famoso billboard di Time Square a New York. Il nuovo tour è già iniziato e noi non vediamo l'ora di vederla on stage!

CATT grew up in the woods of northern german nowhere. Somewhere between the sparsely populated farmland, classical piano- and trombone music and the wish to escape the narrowness of the country life. Her self-released song »Moon« in 2018 was a strong first signal of her colorful piano-playing and her voice floating above warm vocal- and brass arrangements. Since then the multi-instrumentalist recorded, produced and released her »Moon« EP and developed a unique and captivating musical world. CATTs debut album »WHY, WHY« comes in November 2020. Inspired by the place she loved the most since she was young – the forest – and her creativity to make the best of any surrounding, she self produced the album in an artist residence far enough away from the city. On march 2023 her new album, "Change", has been released and we're looking forward to see her on italian stages again!
